One of the few (and one of my favorites) was the MONARCHY Collection... and it offered the best of both worlds (meaning the worlds of hair and fashion). 13 stylists, led by Sean James for Rusk, worked fast and furiously on these models, many of whom walked in with just 5 minutes for prep! Sean James creating a beautiful finish at Monarchy. The women hit the runway. For the female models, James blended a 70's disco curl with an 80's scrunchy perm. A Sloan Ranger The men's looks were a nod to the "Sloan Rangers in London", a term referring to a combination of "Sloane Square," a location in Chelsea famed for the wealth of its residents, and the television Western character "The Lone Ranger."
